Can I suspend my membership?
If you are on a 6 month upfront membership you are entitled to 1 free suspension application. The total time suspended cannot exceed 3 months per membership period. Each additional suspension application will incur a $15 administration fee.
If you are on a 12 month upfront membership you are entitled to 2 free suspension applications. The total time suspended cannot exceed 6 months per membership period. Each additional suspension application will incur a $15 administration fee.
If you are on an ongoing Direct Debit membership you are able to suspend for up to 6 months over a 12-month rolling period. Each suspension application will incur a $15 administration fee.

How old do I have to be to join the Curtin Fitness Centre?
You can join the Fitness Centre from the age of 14 but you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when you are training. Anyone 17 years or older can use the Fitness Centre or group fitness without a parent or guardian.
What are your opening hours?
We are open 6.00am to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday, 6.00am to 8.00pm Friday and 8.00am to 12.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
What if I have never used a gym before?
All fitness centre memberships include a free fitness appraisal and personalised program to help you get started. We’ll show you how to use gym equipment safely to reduce potential injury and also develop a workout plan to get you started.
What do I need to bring with me to work out?
Wear comfy clothes, appropriate training shoes, a sweat towel and water to keep you hydrated.
