Do I need a referral letter or medical clearance?
Referrals are welcome, however they are not essential. Some programs do require medical clearances from your GP.
Am I eligible for a health care rebate?
To check if you are eligible for a rebate, contact your private health care fund prior to your first appointment.
The HICAPS payment system is available for instant claiming of private health care benefits.
The health care rebate will be deducted at the time of your appointment so you only need pay the difference.
To access the HICAPS system please bring your current private health care membership card to every appointment.
What do I bring to my first appointment?
Your first appointment you will need to bring a medical clearance from your GP allowing you to take part in the program.
If you have private health care, you will need to bring your health care card to receive the rebate on the day. If you are unsure if your fund covers you for your appointment, check with your health fund directly.
You will also need to wear comfortable clothing and wear suitable exercise shoes.
What do I bring to my group sessions?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows free range of movement. Don’t wear anything too warm, as you may get hot exercising. Closed exercise shoes and a small sweat towel are required, and we recommend a water bottle.
