Curtin Stadium is a dynamic and impressive events venue. It features a large multi-purpose indoor arena with tiered seating, access to multiple sports ovals and grassed fields, undercover areas, meeting rooms and other unique spaces.

Venues can be transformed to suit a range of different event styles including breakfasts, conferences, conventions, dinners, examinations, graduations, fashion parades, sporting competitions, church services, art exhibitions, family fun days, dances, trade shows and meetings.

Curtin Stadium's main arena

Main Arena

Capacity: 2450

Ideal for large-scale events like conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, examinations, sporting events and formal sit down dinners.

Stage: We have a stage that can be configured in a number of ways. We have 18 pieces in total and we can conform it to your needs. Each piece is 1.8m long by 1.2m wide and 0.6m high. We have steps and skirting for the stage and also a ramp if you require wheelchair access to the stage.

Seating: We have two banks of tiered seating; one bank seats 880 and one bank seats 970. We also have 640 flat seating.

Capacity: 800

An ideal space for group activities, food stalls, markets and outdoor entertaining. Adjacent to Edinburgh Oval South.

Capacity: 10,000

Ideal for outdoors events including fun runs, markets, music concerts or casual sports. See court and field hire for general sporting field and court hire bookings.


Seminar room

Seminar room

Capacity: 20-25

Ideal as a break out space, small conference or training room.
Staff and students of Curtin can now book the seminar room from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday free of charge.

Preferred catering suppliers can also be provided upon request. Some of the caterers past clients have used include Creative Catering and Heyder and Shears.

Staffing

We have fully qualified event duty supervisors that ensure that your event runs smoothly and will assist with any of your queries.

Equipment hire

We offer staging, drapes, carpet, bollards, whiteboard, lectern, chairs, beanbags, exam tables and trestle tables for hire.

If you need equipment that Curtin Stadium is unable to provide, we can recommend external hire equipment companies. In the past many of our clients have used The Event Mill.

Rubbish bins

We can provide you with 660L waste bins on request for your event . We have an additional eight smaller dust bins that can also be used.
